Got a few bracing tubes done today. Knocked out the tubes in front by the motor, roof bar tubes, tubes behind the seat and ended up redoing the tubes in the back. I like the rear tube better than before. I may add a brace down to the motor mounts to help support that better. Pretty much only have the cooler mount and door bars left to do. Then I’ll start doing all the little things like sheet metal tabs and zip tie tabs. Then it will be ready to pull it apart for finally welding.

Door tubes are tacked in and seats are set in place. Few more braces and it will be ready for full weld. Hope to start fully welding it in the new week or 2.

Love these jack stands. I can move this thing all over the shop at ease. All the tube work is done. Now just need to do all the little things like cap what tubes need it, zip tie tabs, mount steering rams, mount rear steer valve, mount switches, mount shifter, sheet metal work, hood, roof, cooler tie downs, belt tabs and seat tabs.

Hell I may sell the bender anyway. Don’t think I’ll ever do another one with bends in it.

I’m no sheet metal guy nor do I claim to be. But I’m good with the way these turned out. I hit the side of the front sheet to bend them over the tube a little to help hide the gap. Just need to do the dash part and be done. Should get my aluminum sheet this next week. Went with 1/4” just to help keep a rock from going through it easily in case of a roll. Just doing the hood and roof in the aluminum. Also got the rear steer valve mounted. So far been able to hide everything behind the motor under the sheet metal.

Got a few things knocked out this afternoon. Got the side panels tacked into place on both sides, front LED bar mounted and my gear shifter mounted. Hope to work on it some tomorrow and try and finish up the center console part. Still need to order me a rocker switch for my rear steer.

Got some of the console done before i came in to watch some football. Just need to mount my USB charging ports, rear steer rocker and the rear suck down winch rocker and it will be done. Just need to order the rockers now.
