We have another race the first weekend of October. Oct 5-7. The race will be held on Saturday the 6th. Bikes, quads, sportsman sxs, and all the rest of the cars, trucks and buggies. Location is Notrees Texas, west of Odessa. Anyone want to come hang out and watch, volunteer, whatever. It shouldn't be too hot unlike our summer races. Feel free to post up any questions. BTW, there should be some Ultra 4 guys (4400 class) out there too.

TDRAreturns to Notrees for the third race of the 2018 season. TheNotrees track has aged like a fine whiskey, banked corners, greatstraightaways, technical sections that challenge the best driver, and a midwaypit setup that allows racers to pit halfway in the main pit.

  • Pro Race – 225 Mile race – 5 Laps on 45-mile track.
    • 8 Hour time limit (27 mpg average).
  • UTV/Bike Race – 3 Laps on 45-mile track.
  • Grand Prix Finish (Everyone gets a finish).
  • Spectating in designated areas only.
  • GPS File will be available for download, or you can borrow a chip from TDRA, there will not be anyone from TDRA to assist with loading of course maps.

Due to the rain, we had a choice, cut 20 miles per lap or cancel the race. We voted for a shorter course. They cut it from 36+ to just over 16 miles per lap. The bikes, quads and production UTV's raced first, late Saturday morning. All other pro classes were sent off the line starting at 2:45pm. We started 3rd of seven in our class. We finished first in class and 1st for fastest time. It was not easy. Running down the lead car took 5.5 laps. Had another 5U putting on lots of pressure. Good race!! Ready for the December race!! That makes two 1st place finishes for the season. We missed the second race completely and have the fourth and final race for the season in December.
