Rookie question. Output on the trans is 32 input on the 208 is 23? Is it just swapping out the the input shaft on the 208 to a 32 spline and making sure I have the correct factory adapter/outputshaft length?

Yes on the spline counts. There should be a Jeep400/np208 adapter out there that works. With the GM adapter, the bolt pattern is the same on the mounting, but the rotation is wrong. it will line up with 5 of the 6 bolts, but will site just slightly above flat. If I remember right, the missing bolt is low, so it becomes a leak issue as well. Jeep 208 may have the alignment dowel also that you need to pop out. I cant remember is that dowel is a Dodge thing, or Jeep thing, or both back then.

Thank you. I thought so but needed a little reasurance. Its been quite a while since Ive read up on the interchangeability. I found a NP208 somewhat local for dirt cheap. The plan is to go pick it up tomorrow. I think with the th400 and NP208 I should still be able to use the factory column shifter and crossmember.

On the t400 to 208 adaptor. Dott just made one for Ryan..
