anybody running the efi-live on their D-max? I plan on getting one and having it tuned by Rob or a guy I heard about in San Antonio.

same one I am looking at. How much did it help with your fuel mileage? Any other mods?

I want to get the EFI Live, then later a 4" exhaust turbo back. main thing I am looking to accomplish is better fuel mileage. I read on the Duramax forums quite a bit about what they have done to increase performance, but that shit adds up quick..

I did the tuner and 4" turbo back straight pipe at the same time, gained 2.5-3 mpg. I usually only run it on the stock mileage setting or 40 hp tow with turbo brake setting. Also have 60 hp and 90 hp street tunes, but generally don't run them. The stock tranny can only handle ~90 hp over stock, unless you do the Trans Go Jr or similar. The 5th setting is a security setting that prevents starting.

Planning to do the ATP/ EFI setup on my LMM after the new year along with a 4" exhaust. I ran my PPE on my LBZ for about 5 years and was pretty happy with the canned tunes. I ran the 225 and 160 tunes for a good while and the last year or so had it on the tow tune. I would like to run something similar to Jeremy's setup with the tow/ turbo brake, street tunes, mileage tune, and a limp tune so my shit doesn't get stolen again :smack: The nice thing about the PPEs is you can find them unlocked and used for pretty cheap. I think I picked my last one up for 250 shipped on DP.
